The location of the hotel is very convenient with easy walking distance to the city. The rooms and bathrooms are large, beautifully maintained, and impeccably clean. The staff is lovely and helpful, and the breakfast included in the tariff is delicious. Moreover, the hotel has ample free parking and is near a popular restaurant and cafe, which is a great advantage for guests.
Only the noise level can be a bit bothersome during rush hours.

We loved the cozy and quaint atmosphere of the hotel. Our room was even bigger than we expected and we appreciated the little touches like fresh fruit, newspaper, and coffee in the lounge. The breakfast was delicious and provided at a nearby cafe. The hotel also had good parking options.
Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

Liked the comfortable rooms, surprisingly spacious, with great little decking area outside. The shared lounge area with drinks facilities is a useful addition. Breakfast was tasty, served at a lovely cafe nearby, and the pub next door provided a good selection of beers, plus a hearty meal. Surprisingly little noise from the pub, quiet from 9.30 pm. Only a 15-minute walk to the city centre.
Disliked the shower head, which was difficult to control, and ended up covering the floor in water. The cigarette smoke was strong, particularly when patrons sat outside the building and smoke drifted inside.

Our romantic escape was amazing. the breakfast menu offered a variety of options that were included in our package, which we enjoyed in a stylish and cozy venue. We were delighted to find out that we had exclusive access to the complimentary car park, which made our stay stress-free. the room was spacious and beautifully furnished, with an impressive view of the garden.
We had a noisy start to our day due to the laundry room being located next to our room. We recommend checking the location of the room beforehand.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly and helpful owner who escorted us to our room. The room itself was spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. We especially loved the cozy little lounge area that provided everything we needed for our short stay. Another highlight was the delicious breakfast served at the adjacent cafe - it was one of the best breakfasts we've ever had! The location of the inn was also ideal, with easy walking distance to the city center. The secure car parking was a bonus, and having a great pub with friendly staff right next door was a definite plus. Despite a couple of minor issues, such as a shower curtain that needed cleaning and a broken blind, our overall experience at Pomeroys On Kilmore was fantastic. We would highly recommend this lovely B&B to anyone visiting Christchurch.

A fantastic BnB!!! Great location and really 3 venues wrapped into one.the BnB, next door their pub/hotel which included a fabulous restaurant with excellent food.not pub grub and on the corner a gorgeous cafe, where we ate our breakfast which was scrumptious!!! couldn’t beat this BnB as ‘the’ place to stay in Christchurch!!! Fabulous room, bathroom, and courtyard. Lovely pub next door with great food, service, and a wide selection of beers on tap. Friendly and helpful staff at the BnB, hotel, and breakfast. The included breakfast was delicious and had fancy scrambled eggs and latte options. The rooms were elegant and had french doors, heated bathroom floors, and a very comfortable bed. The tea/coffee selection was better than most hotel "high teas".
Would recommend this hotel.
